According to what is mostly said : the sky in the desert is far more clearer than in the Alps. No light pollution mailes around allows to see more stars than ever ! H.

No doubt. I would have definitely taken that at a lower ISO. I never take still night shots other than at ISO 100 if I have a tripod. But you got the tent exposure correct!

I imagine this tent in the desert could be from 100's of years ago or today (minus the electric light!) - good one.

In fact, it was not electric light, but a candle ! :) There was no electricity in these tents ! :) This would be the hell for a geek !
