Sault is a village famous for its lavander. When we went here, it was too late. No more lavander in the fields, everything was dried in shops. The village had little interest, except some old fashioned houses. If you go there, travel in summer, september is too late. H.

Not the type of building we can see over here ... the oldest have been destroyed by volcano's eruptions ;) I actually planted lavender in our garden a few weeks back (with the help of Jordi) and it is doing fabulously here with the strong sun and rain.

Does the lavender smell on its own? Or does it need processing?
