Yes we still use this antennas, but there is satellite also. It depends how many channels you want to have.

Kerstin and I use both DSL and TV antenna. The TV resorts distributed with this antennas are free (just an annual tax to pay for TV owner even if they don't use the public network).
Parabols are seldom collective, and most of buildings have forbidden to install it on balconies or windows because it is truely ugly.
